Due to our lovely Edinburgh weather, tonight's class is cancelled. The Chaplaincy and all UoE buildings will close at 3pm today.
We will see you next Thursday which will be the last dance class of the year!

Hello all,
After popular demand we are having a dance class tomorrow as well, to give us more time to rehearse our show before the upcoming performance on March the 11th and 12th.
Please come at 7:30pm [not 7:00pm this time - although this should not make a difference to most of you :)] at the Chaplaincy.

Hello guys!
It was great to see you yesterday. We spent some time reviewing Baiduska and showed three variations: turns, wave and in&out. We will cover the other 2 variations (stop and change of direction) in the coming classes.
We also danced the Cretan dances "Katsampadianos" and "Pidihtos Lasithiou", and showed you "Katsa".
REMEMBER!!!! There is no dance class on November 9th - we meet again Tuesday, November 16th!
In our last dance class (19th October) we tried something different...
We put on random tracks and let you guys figure out which dance steps go with which songs. The chaos which followed was unexpected!! :) All jokes aside - I think the exercise showed us that we need to let you take the lead more often. You did display great team work though, and by trial and error (koutsa-strava!), you eventually managed to match the correct dance to each tune!

Good to see you on Tuesday! We covered a few different dances to re-cap on previous years, and only spent a bit more time showing the steps of "Kori Eleni" and particularly of "Baiduska". For Baiduska we covered the following variations: turns, change of direction, wave.

We only spent some extra time covering the variations of Tsamikos, which are: turns; six-six; squat; hit; salahi; scissors!
